Beautiful Art, Beautiful Mystery

Hello All,

I always love a good mystery, but the mystery I'd like to share with you today is particularly special. I would go into all the intricate details of the story, but someone else has already added up all the evidence, clues, facts, and events on another wonderful blog. So, I will let you read the story there. I'm just going to leave you with five Ws, a picture, a link, and hopefully enough intrigue to explore this mystery on your own.

Who: ????
What: Eleven beautiful, complex sculptures crafted out of old books.
Where: Around Edinburgh, Scotland - in various literary and cultural centers.
When: March 2011 - December 201.

I'm Back!

Hello All,

It has certainly been awhile since my last post, over five months I think. I do apologize for my disappearance. Life has been rather hectic and a little dramatic. I've been moving around a bunch and dealing with some family issues. Nonetheless, I would like to assure you that I have not stopped hunting for beauty. In fact, I have a massive back log of potential posts I would like to share with all of you. Most are you tube videos, painting, songs, movie recommendations, and dances as usual, but I do find them all to be wonderful reminders of the simple, beautiful things that we tend to take for granted. Anyway, I hope to get one or two new posts up within the next 24-hours. I can never be sure exactly what will happen with my day, but I will certainly do my best to begin sharing things with you on a regular basis again.

Valentines Advice

Hello All,

It has certainly been awhile. My move brought with it a lot of challenges. As such, I didn't really think about blogging too much. I saw many beautiful things in the last few months that I will have to catch you up on, but for now I just wanted to post a simple valentines day message. Like some of my other notes, this is a copy of something I wrote on Facebook. I hope it brings a little hope, love, and inspiration today.

To all of us who don't have a partner to cuddle up with tonight (and also to those of you who do):

Instead of feeling upset and hating Valentines Day, try using this day to celebrate love in all aspects of your life. Celebrate the love and support you receive from friends, family members, colleagues, and mentors. If you look hard I bet you can find at least three people you love in your life. Remind them how much they mean to you. Talk about some happy memories you have with them. I guarantee it will make both them and you happy today. If I can do it, you can too. ;)

Love you friends. Thanks for all you've done to make my life livable. Have a wonderful day, and remember that if you ever need anything, I'm here for you! ♥
